Xavier High School

Introducing our 2026 Honoree
Presented by Xavier High School’s Home & School Association

Mr. Rich Feitel, Director of Alumni & Development
Educator. Leader. Coach. Mentor. Friend. Staple of the Xavier Community.

We are honored to announce that the inaugural recipient of the Xavier Impact Award is Mr. Rich Feitel, whose decades of service and enduring commitment to Xavier High School have left a lasting mark on generations of students and families.

Rich taught U.S. History, Geography, and Economics at Xavier High School from 1968 to 1985, inspiring students both in the classroom and beyond. During that time, he also coached track alongside Bob Michalski, contributing to a remarkable record of more than 160 consecutive dual-meet victories.

In 1985, Rich became Xavier’s first Director of Alumni & Development, serving in that role until 1997 and helping to strengthen the connection between Xavier and its extended community. In 2024, he returned to Randolph Road, bringing with him world-class fundraising experience and the same passion and dedication that have long defined his relationship with Xavier.

Through thoughtful interactions, handwritten notes of appreciation, and a steady, welcoming presence, Rich continually inspires support for Xavier’s mission to form young men who are truly Men like Christ. His tireless efforts open doors, create opportunities, and help ensure that the Xavierian dreams of our sons remain vibrant and achievable.

As Xavier parents, we believe Rich Feitel’s unwavering commitment to building a brighter future for our students makes him the ideal inaugural honoree of the Xavier Impact Award.

Donors will be recognized in the 2026 Black & White Auction program, Xavier’s annual giving publications and on a commemorative plaque (minimum $500 donation required). DEADLINE TO COMMIT IS FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2026.
